Palode is a village in Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala, India.[1][2]
As of 2001[update] India census, Palode had a population of 14795 with 7053 males and 7742 females. It's the Land of goodness.Its the land of beauty. One kilometer away from this town to any direction has beautiful natural treasures. One who spent a day here won't forgot this 'GOD'S OWN TOWN' in his/her life. Nearby tourist locations involve ponmudi, thenmala, peppara waterfalls, palode water falls, lower meenmutti dam etcc. Another major attraction which made it a part of ecotourism map is its Botanical garden. Many tourists from world wide flow to this place to spent their holidays.
