Paintepur

Paintepur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sitapur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001^[update] India census^[1], Paintepur had a population of 11,182. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Paintepur has an average literacy rate of 50%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 54%, and female literacy is 44%. In Paintepur, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
