Padshahan is a village and union council, an administrative subdivision, of Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan, it is part of Chakwal Tehsil. It is famous for a local festival named by Mela or Urs of Baba Peer Shah and Baba Sattar Shah that is often held yearly basis on 15,16 and 17 June. The second reason of its popularity is the personality of the Lt. General (R) Abdul Qayyum, who is the Ex-Chairman of the POF Wah, Ex-Chairman of Pakistan Steel Karachi and also the Military Secretary of the Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.Qazi kashif abrar organizer pakistan tehreek e insaf uc padshahan chakwal. There is a Girls High school in the village, a Higher Secondary School for boys, There is also a Hospital in the village, but because of the unavailability of the MBBS Doctor the people like to go in the Chakwal city for treatment (Aoun Raza) [1].
