Ottersøya is a village in the municipality of Nærøy in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located at the southwestern end of the Kvingra peninsula, just across the Nærøysundet from Rørvik. It is much closer to Rørvik (in Vikna) than to its own municipal centre, Kolvereid. The village of Torstad lies about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) north of Ottersøya. In 2001, it had about 250 inhabitants.[2] Just south of Ottersøya village lie the Marøysund Bridge and Nærøysund Bridge which connect Nærøy to Vikna.
