Omri Lowther (born December 27, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a professional Canadian-American boxer in the Light Welterweight division[1] and is the current WBA Fedecaribe lightweight champion.[2]
Omir won his first title the WBA Fedecaribe lightweight championship by beating Juan Carlos Batista of the Dominican Republic.[3]
In August 2006, on ESPN's Friday Night Fights he would go onto lose a ten round decision to title contender Henry Lundy.[4]
On November 13, 2010 Lowther fought Mexican American Brandon Rios in Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas.[5] The fight ended in a loss for Lowther after a TKO in the fifth round.
