Old Bethel United Methodist Church is located at 222 Calhoun St., Charleston, South Carolina.
The building was built at 55 Pitt St. at the corner with Calhoun St. to replace a church built in 1797-1798. It was it was moved to the current location in 1880 after having been given to the black members of a nearby congregation.
The building was originally a plan meeting house with a simple rectangular plan. The portico with its four fluted columns was added after the building was moved to its present site. The columns have modified Tower of the Winds type capitals. The galleried interior is plainly finished.
