Nughedu San Nicolò (Sardinian: Nughèdu Santu Nigola) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 180 km northwest of Cagliari and about 5 km northwest of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 972 and an area of 67.8 km².[1]
