Nowa Tuchola [ˈnɔva tuˈxɔla] (German: Neu Tuchel) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tuchola, within Tuchola County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Tuchola and 53 km (33 mi) north of Bydgoszcz.
The village has a population of 110.
During the German Invasion of Poland in 1939, members of German minority from Selbstschutz on 30 September murdered 48 people in the village, including 2 Poles and 46 Jews. The vicitms were collected also from neighbouring villages. Among the Germans following names were identified: Bratsch Helmut, Briske Hans, Walter Klos, Merten-Feddler Kurt, Muller Willy[1].
