Nord Anglia Education

Nord Anglia Education Limited is a private, for-profit company[1] that provides education and related educational services in the United Kingdom and internationally. The company was founded in 1972 and operates two divisions: International Schools and Learning Services.

Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) acquired the company in a take-private transaction that valued the firm at £190m in September 2008. In February of 2011, NAE received an investment of undisclosed amount from Partners Group and BPEA, to "support Nord Anglia Education in further expanding the business in Switzerland and around the world, especially in the emerging markets."

The International Schools division provides British-style education for children between the ages of 2 and 18 years in 11 international schools with over 4,000 pupils. Schools in the group include:

Learning Services

Founded in 1972, Nord Anglia's Learning Services Division works in partnership with central and local governments, education authorities, schools and other public sector organisations to provide a range of education, training, and learning support services. It had a turnover of over $200m in 2009-10.
