No Justice is a Red Dirt/Texas Country band which is originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma. Stillwater has also produced musical talents such as Jimmy LaFave, Garth Brooks, The Great Divide, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney LaRue, Mike McClure and Jason Boland & the Stragglers. Having been a fixture in Stillwater since 2001, No Justice developed a large following across Oklahoma and Texas, averaging more than 200 shows a year, all leading to the band's signing in 2010 by Carved Records.

No Justice is singer/guitarist Steve Rice, guitarist Jerry Payne, bassist Joey Treviño, drummer Armando Lopez and lead guitarist Cody Patton. They have released two studio albums, Far From Everything, and their self-titled effort, No Justice. In September 2007, No Justice released their first live album, Live at Billy Bob's CD/DVD, joining a long list of artists in the Live at Billy Bob's series.

By late 2009, the group had landed a new record deal with Carved Records, partnered with a veteran artist manager and made the decision to record their next project, called Second Avenue, in Nashville, TN. The No Justice sound had developed over the years into a balanced compound of roots, red dirt, country and blues. The project is the third studio album from No Justice with the third different band lineup. The album is entitled Second Avenue and was released on July 6, 2010 by Carved Records.

The new album, produced by Dexter Green (Collective Soul), is their first studio effort in several years. Rice wrote or co-writing eight of the tracks selected for the final album, often collaborating with Nashville songwriters like Clint Ingersoll, Derek Hoke and Danny Green. The album also features special guest appearances by Rebecca Lynn Howard and Johnny Cooper.[1]
