Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen

Nguyễn Cao Kỳ Duyên (; born June 30, 1972) is a Vietnamese-American personality and co-host of Thuy Nga's Paris By Night.

Biography

Kỳ Duyên was born in Saigon, South Vietnam in 1972 and was almost three years old during the "fall of Saigon" on April 30, 1975 when her family left for the United States. Her parents were anti-communist and worried that they would be persecuted by the North Vietnamese authorities after it succeeded in taking over South Vietnam. Her father, Nguyễn Cao Kỳ, was a former South Vietnamese prime minister, vice president, and air-force general.

Kỳ Duyên currently works as a Master of Ceremonies for Thuy Nga's Paris By Night videos. She lives in Orange County, California.

Personal life

She was married, secondly, to Trịnh Hội, a Vietnamese-Australian human rights lawyer/refugee advocate and a concert promoter. [1] On December 2, 2008, Kỳ Duyên and her second husband, Trịnh Hội, announced their plan to end the marriage.

Education

Kỳ Duyên grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, before the family moved to Huntington Beach, California where she graduated from Marina High School. She completed her undergraduate education at California State Polytechnic University before receiving her law degree from Western State University College of Law.[1]
