Newhaven tram stop was to be one of several Edinburgh Trams Phase 1a tram stops beyond St Andrews Square. It was cancelled due to cost overruns in June 2011.[1] The stop would have been in the Newhaven area of Edinburgh, located on Lindsay Road. Originally, the station would have been built as a through station for the cancelled Phase 1b extension back round to Haymarket forming a loop around the city centre.
