Nephelobates is a genus of poison dart frogs native to South America. This genus is relatively new (1994), created from the former Colostethus alboguttatus group.
A recent review proposed that Nephelobates is paraphyletic and should be invalidated, meaning that the included species belong in different taxonomic groups.
