Necotowance

Nectowance (c. 1600-1649) was the Weroance (chief) of the Pamunkey tribe following the death of his uncle Opechancanough. After his death he was succeeded by Totopotomoi as Weroance of the tribe. He signed a Treaty with the Colony of Virginia in 1645, at which time he was called by the English "King of the Indians."
