2009 Charity Basketball Incident

On Saturday November 14, 2009, members of the Nashoba Regional High School boys basketball team played a team of former New England Patriots players. During the game, the Patriots players became physically and verbally abusive. Former players Garin Veras and Matt Chatham were singled out for their inappropriate behavior. The charity event was a fundraiser for the Stow Police Benevolent Association. Officers of the Stow Police Department were supposed to play with the high school players but did not show up to the event.[1]
