The Nantong Museum (Chinese: 南通博物苑; pinyin: Nāntōng Bówùyuàn)is located on Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China, on 19 Haonan Road in Chongchuan Districtis. It's located near the center of the city, becides the Hao River. It is the first museum in China[1], established by Zhang Jian (politician), who is one of the pioneers of Chinese Modernization Movement. It opened on 1909. Its original buildings are three halls. They are mid hall, south hall and north hall, used for four kinds of dispalys--natural display, historical display, art display and educational display.
