Nansio is a settlement on the island of Ukerewe, Lake Victoria, in Tanzania. It is the most populous settlement in the Ukerewe District, and is a port of entry for passenger and freight shipping services from Mwanza. The ward of Nansio, one of 28 in the district of Ukerewe, had a population of 5967 at the census of August 1, 2002.
