Nagakute (長久手市 Nagakute-shi ) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
The town of Nagakute was located in Aichi District, and gained city status on January 4, 2012. This leaves Aichi District with one municipality.[1]
On March 25, 2005, Expo 2005 opened with its main site being in Nagakute. The expo ran until September 25, 2005.
