Naejangsan is a mountain located on the border of North Jeolla and South Jeolla provinces in southwestern South Korea, approximately three hours drive south of Seoul. It has an elevation of 763 m (2,503 ft).

Naejangsan forms the core of Naejangsan National Park. It is located nearby the city of Jeongeup and is a very popular tourist destination, particularly in autumn due to its spectacular autumn foliage.[1]
Naejang means that something hidden in the mountain is infinite. The mountain is located in the boundary between Jeong-up and Sun-chang. It is one of the best mountains in korea. And It is also famous for fall foliage more than 500 years. In 17 NOV 1971, the mountain became a national park. During the peak season, there are about 100 thousands tourist per day in order to see fall foliage. And there are million tourists in a year. In the spring, there is cherry blossoms in the green mountain. In the summer, there is well-shade of tree. In the autumn, there is ablazing fall foliage. In the winter, there is snowy landscape. The mountain is very attractive in four seasons.
-Transportation- There is Bus station and train station in Jeong-up. Both station are less than 20km from the mountain. The train station is on Honam Line. So you can depart from Seoul(Yongsan Station) or Gwang-ju. Also KTX(Korea Train eXpress) is available.(From Yongsan to Jeong-up : about 2 1/4hours) If you take bus from seoul, it will take about 3 hours. From the stations, take the bus No.171(from 6:25-21:00) and you can reach the Naejang bus station. It's next to the mountain
