Interblock Ljubljana is a Slovenian football club, which plays in the city of Ljubljana. The club was founded in 1975 as NK Factor and was renamed to NK Interblock when Jože Pečečnik, one of the richest persons in Slovenia, took over the team[1]. During the 2007 season, the club changed their historic light blue kit to red. The club uses the name NK IB Ljubljana in UEFA club competitions as UEFA doesnt allow sponshorship naming of clubs in their competitions.

The club earned promotion finishing first in the Slovenian second division in the 2005/2006 season. At the end of the 2006/2007 season, Interblock came 9th and won a play-off series to remain in the PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, the first division of Slovenian professional football. The club was once known as NK Factor, but it changed the name to Interblock in 2007.
