Remarks 11th Season (2011-2012)

The National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) is an athletic association of colleges and universities in the Philippines. It was established in 2001.

NAASCU XI sports are Men's, Women's and Junior's Basketball, Men's and Women's Volleyball, Track and Field, Table Tennis, Chess, Taekwondo, Swimming, Billiards, Badminton and Cheerdance.

The 11th Season of the National Athletic Association of Schools Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) hosted by St. Clare College of Caloocan opened on July 29, 2011 at the Makati Coliseum amidst thousands of students who witnessed the opening ceremonies. Now on its 11th season, the NAASCU has adopted the theme "Soaring To Greater Heights".

This year three teams have filed a leave of absence, namely the San Sebastian College - Recoletos de Cavite, Lyceum of Subic Bay and University of Makati.

A new team has joined the NAASCU. The NAASCU’s newest member is Trace College of Los BaΓ±os.

UM's undefeated streak

UM had an 86-game winning streak since the league's inception at 2001. It was halted by St. Clare, 81-80, on September 10, 2005, after a desperation three pointer from halfcourt by St. Clare's Dennis San Pedro.
