The family Myroidaceae was composed of two genera of environmental bacteria[1], Myroides and Psychromonas.

The genus Myroides have been moved to the Family Flavobacteriaceae and Psychromonas to the Order Alteromonadales, Family Psychromonadaceae[2][3].
