Museo de Formas Espacios y Sonidos is a museum in San José, Costa Rica. Located at Calle 21/23 the museum is located in the former Atlantic railway station. It was built in 1908 and the museum opened in April 2002. The Formas room of the museum features numerous sculptures in wood and stone whilst the Espacios room features scale models of buildings and the ruins of Ujarras.[1] The Sonidos room has a collection of musical instruments on display. The museum also has a notable collection related to the history of railways in Costa Rica, from a Locomotive 59 , a 1939 steam locomotive imported from Philadelphia to a bust of Tomas Guardia who established the railway in the country.
