Murala is a town and union council of Mandi Bahauddin District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[16] It is located at 32°31'60N 73°37'60E and has an altitude of 212 metres (698 feet).[17].Murala is situated 25 km in the East of the city Mandibahuddin and 12 km in the North of the city of Phalia and 10 km in the south of famous town Challianwala. A major canal flows near the village known as RASUL-QADIR ABAD link canal. The population of the village is round about 15,000. The cast of the live in the village is warraich.
In the north side of the village, there are seven villages of the SAHI caste named as Dhoke Kasib, Dhoke Nawan Lok, Dhoke Joddi, Dhoke Dowood, Dhoke Murad, and Dhoke Saharan, In the East side of the village there is Makhananwali, Rasul pur, Kotly Qazi, and in the south side of the village are, Bagganwala, Duburji, Helan are situatedand in the western side there are many villages like, churund, Jassik, Kear Bawa and Dhoke Shahani…
People of the village are very friendly, caring, honest, peaceful and hospitable, so the village is known as Aman ka ghaghwara through whole the district.
Residents of Murala are serving Pakistan in all the spheres of life in various positions in different capacities. Literacy rate in both male and female is encouraging. Its matter of great honour and prestige that the Bright Stars of this town are serving in the prestigious and the most aspired Civil Service Of Pakistan after qualifying the most tough and the highest Competitive Examination Of Pakistan i.e. CSS (Central Superior Services Examination Of Pakistan. This examination is a real test of ones knowledge, stamina, nerves and mettle. Great people of the town are serving their motherland as Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces Of Pakistan. They are also serving as Scientists, Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Educationists, Bankers, and Researchers both in public and private sectors.
A large number of people are working across the latitude and longitude of the globe; e.g. in Japan USA, UK, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Spain, Belgium, Greek, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and in Abu Dhabi. Immigrants earn pretty sums of money by living at oceans distance from their dear ones. Their earnings are a source of prosperity for their homes in the town but there is hardly any moment when they don't miss their families and motherland. There are two Govt boys High schools and one Govt girls Higher secondary school are available in the village. Also there is one BOYS Higher secondary school share by the tow villages Murala and Makhananwali. There are 11 mosques in the village, out of that 5 masjid are jamia masjids. There are many Madrassas are available in the village like, Madrassa Qasim Al Aloom and some other madrasas. There are three main private schools in the village:
