Mountain View High School (MVHS) is the only public secondary school located in the city of Mountain View, in Stone County, Arkansas. The mascot of the school is the Yellowjacket. The school colors are blue and gold.

Mountain View High School currently competes in football, soccer, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, wrestling, cheerleading, and men's and women's track and field. The school also sponsors a women's dance team which won the 2008-2009 State Championship. In the past has fielded a swim team.
Mountain View High School competes in the AAA-East division Arkansas high school athletics. The girl's basketball team won AAA State Championship in 2011.
The school has a concert band, marching band, and concert choir, as well as a theater arts troupe. The school also offers courses in painting, drawing, as well as art and music history.
In 2002 MVHS partnered with local musicians to create the "Music Roots" program as a way to introduce students to the traditional mountain folk music and instruments common in the area.
