Mount Michael Benedictine Abbey and High School is a Benedictine monastic community in Elkhorn, Nebraska, USA. It is dedicated to following the example of Saint Benedict as written in the Benedictine Order. The school was founded in 1953 by the monastic community of Immaculate Conception Abbey in Missouri. Mount Michael began as a high school and junior college for men preparing for the priesthood and was called St. John's Vianney Seminary. In the spring of 1970, the monks reformed the school into Mount Michael Benedictine High School, a Catholic residential high school with a focus on college preparatory curriculum. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha.

The school has about 210 students. Most reside in the Omaha and Elkhorn area. International students are enrolled from South Korea, Mexico, Spain, China, Rwanda, Sudan, Canada, France, Bahamas and Thailand. Typically, these students reside on campus from either Sunday night or Monday morning until Friday afternoon. Many students are now considered 7-day boarders and remain at school for the entire weekend. Currently, Sean Cox is the International Dean. Additionally, the introduction of a day-student program has slightly increased and diversified the student population since the fall of 2002.
Mount Michael's athletic teams are known as the Knights. The school participates in baseball, basketball, bowling, cross-country, football, golf, Legion baseball, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, and wrestling.[2]
The Knights have won 19 state championships between 1967 and 2011:[3]
The campus is located on 400 acres (1.6 km2) overlooking the Elkhorn River valley and happens to be the tallest point in Douglas County, Nebraska.
The School on 22520 Mount Michael Road has existed since 1956. The name then was Saint John's. The name was changed to Mount Michael in 1970 to re-establish the school as a non-seminary.
