Mori Seiki (森精機製作所 Mori Seiki Seisakusho ) (TYO: 6141) is a Japan-based company, headquartered in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture,[1][2] engaged primarily in the manufacture and sale of machine tools. Since its establishment in 1948, it has grown into one of the largest machine tool builders in the world.
Since about 2009, Mori Seiki has entered into a strategic partnership with Deckel-Maho-Gildemeister (DMG) of Germany, yielding the DMG-Mori Seiki organization. The corporations have not merged entirely, but they intend to share engineering, marketing, service, and distribution resources where possible to enhance their competitiveness against rival firms.
