Montview, also known as the Carter Glass Estate, is a historic home located on the Liberty University campus at Lynchburg, Virginia. It was built in 1923, as the home of Senator Carter Glass. The property is 1.7 acres (6,900 m2) in extent with a 1 1⁄2-story main house, which has a gambrel-roofed, fieldstone central block, flanked by 1 1⁄2-story wings; and servant's quarters.[2] The grave of Rev. Jerry Fallwell is located on the front lawn of the home.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.[1]
