Montemurro is a town and comune in the province of Potenza, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata.
The Italian-American Lucchese crime family mobster brothers Raymond Montemurro and Monte Montemurro share their last name with the town. Monte Montemurro would later play a small part in the 1967 Air France Robbery.
