Montegiorgio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Fermo in the Italian region Marche, located about 70 km south of Ancona and about 80 km north of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,648 and an area of 47.4 km².[1]

Montegiorgio borders the following municipalities: Belmonte Piceno, Falerone, Fermo, Francavilla d'Ete, Magliano di Tenna, Massa Fermana, Montappone, Monte San Pietrangeli, Monte Vidon Corrado, Rapagnano.

The composer, Domenico Alaleona (1881 - 1900) was from the comune.
