Montegaldella is a city in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. SP16 crosses it.
It is characterized by peace and tranquility, which can be enjoyed by taking a stroll on the green banks of Bacchiglione, the river that placidly flows near its borders.
In Montegaldella you can find the Villa Conti-Lampertico "La Deliziosa", built in the early 17th century, precious example of the type of villa that has been studied and copied all over the world; its garden features statues by Orazio Marinali.
The town is also home to the over 500 years-old Catholic church of San Michele Arcangelo, that has been restored in the early 2000s; the church's bells are still rung by hand by a team of dedicated citizens, who have also participated in bellringing contests, and are something the town prides itself on.
Residents and visitors can relax in Parco Robinson, off via Roma, or enjoy a bruschetta in Roby Bar on the main traffic roundabout.
