ModCloth was launched as a website in 2002 by Susan Gregg-Koger with the help of her then-boyfriend, now-husband Eric Koger.[7] The pair continued working on the website while attending Carnegie Mellon University.[7] Since 2002, the company has grown enormously with annual revenue in excess of $15 million in 2009.[1] As of June 2010, the company has more than 138 employees.[2]
In 2009, ModCloth founders Susan Gregg-Koger and Eric Koger were listed as no. 2 and no. 3 respectively in Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30: America's Coolest Young Entrepreneurs.[7]. ModCloth was ranked #2 in Inc.'s Inc. 500 list in 2010.[8]
