Mochh is a town and union council, an administrative subdivision, of Mianwali District in the Punjab province of Pakistan[1]. It is part of Mianwali Tehsil and is located north of the district capital at 32°44'49N 71°30'51E and lies east of the Indus River.[2]. Mochh is also the ancestral village of Tariq Abbas Khan Niazi, Chairman of Mianwali Ittehad. The most predominant sub-tribe in Mochh are the Taja Khels.

Mochh is also the ancestral village of Tariq Abbas Khan Niazi, Chairman of Mianwali Ittehad. Generally Niazi tribe is settled in Mianwali District with sprinkling of 'Awans' who are not Niazi. Mochh people are from 'Tajay Khel' Branch of Niazis. It is a big village and related villages are 'Swans' as well Shahbaz khel though some people doubt that Shahbaz Khels are not Tajay Khels but they are certainly a very brave tribe of Niazis as good as Swans or Mochh people. Prominent people in Mochh are Maj Gen(Retd) Rafi Ullah Khan HI(M) and Brig (Retd) Dr . Muhammad Aslam Khan, who possesses doctorate degree. The subtirbes of Mochh are Dirgai Khel, Biland Khel, Ahmad Khel, Hummayoon Khel, Alam Khan Khel and Kabir Khel. The people are very straight forward, brave and caring if friends but bitter enemies also.
