Mittelreidenbach is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Herrstein, whose seat is in the like-named municipality.

The municipality lies in the Reidenbach valley southeast of the river Nahe. To the west lies Idar-Oberstein.
In 1367, Mittelreidenbach had its first documentary mention.
The council is made up of 12 council members, who were elected by majority vote at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009, and the honorary mayor as chairman[2].
Mittelreidenbach’s mayor is Peter Ballat, and his deputies are Reimund Steitz and Renate Hirth[3].
The municipality’s arms might be described thus: Per pale vert a hammer and a pick per saltire surmounted by an ear of wheat couped palewise, all argent, and argent a cross gules.
