Miss Perú Universo 2009

Miss Perú 2009, the 57th Miss Perú pageant was held at the Hacienda Villa de Chorillos, in Lima, Perú on April 4, 2009. Karen Schwarz, Miss Amazonas was crowned Miss Peru Universo 2009 by outgoing titleholder Karol Castillo of Trujillo. 23 contestants competed in the event which was broadcast live on Panamericana Television. Karen Schwarz represented Perú in Miss Universe 2009. The first runner up, Jessica Schialer, Miss Earth Perú 2009 will enter in Miss Earth 2009. The second runner up, Sofia del Pinho, Miss Turismo Peruana 2009 will enter in Miss Tourism Queen International 2009. The top 6 will enter Miss Continente Americano 2009, Reina Hispanoamericana 2009, and Miss Intercontinental 2009.
