Minmose

Minmose was the overseer of works for pharaohs Thutmose III [1] and Amenhotep II and took part in expeditions to Syria (Thutmose's 8th campaign [2]), Nubia [3] and, as commander of the elite forces, in what was probably Amenhotep II's campaign in Takhsy [4]. In addition to overseeing the construction of many temples, he collected taxes in Retenu, and in Nubia during Thutmose's Nubian campaign in the 49th year of the pharaoh's reign [5]. He lived in the 15th century BC.
