The Ministry of Law is a ministry of the Government of Singapore responsible for ensuring that Singapore's legal infrastructure is clear, efficacious and transparent. It is currently led by Minister for Law K Shanmugam.

Mission

To ensure a sound and progressive legal infrastructure, intellectual property infrastructure and insolvency regime, and to optimise land resources, to support national goals.

Organisational structure

The Ministry of Law comprises

Headquarters (HQ) is mainly made up of the policy divisions including Legal Policy Division, Legal Industry Division, Land Policy Division, Intellectual Property Policy Division and the Planning & Performance Division. HQ also includes the Community Mediation Unit with its Community Mediation Centres (CMCs) dispersed in the URA Centre East Wing, Woodlands Civic Centre and the Subordinate Courts of Singapore.
