The Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs (with special responsibility for European Affairs) is a junior ministerial post in the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Ireland with special responsibility for European Affairs. The Minister works together with the senior Minister in this department. The Minister of State does not hold cabinet rank.
The current incumbent is Lucinda Creighton, TD, who took up the post in March 2011.[1]
