Midleton RFC is an Irish rugby union club that currently plays in Division 2 of the All-Ireland League.
History
The club was originally founded in the 1927/28 season, but disbanded in 1934. Midleton RFC was reformed on 4 March 1967.more famous ex players include Tom Mulcahy, Gary Johnson, Ian Harty, Adrian Harty, Tom Lynch and Trevor Cox. Most famous current players include Keith Cocking,James Colbert,Michael 'shmig' Daly and John goold. In the pre- professional era the club struggled to hold on to players. Poaching from the big city clubs like Sundays Well, Old Christians and Dolphin as well as immigration depleted the ranks year after year. But in recent times the club has produced a high level of players.
