Mickaël Poté (born September 24, 1984) is a French-born Beninese footballer who plays as a striker for 2nd Bundesliga club Dynamo Dresden and the Benin national team.

Poté began his career with Grenoble Foot and played in his first season only three games. After the season in summer 2004 signed a contract with AS Cannes and stayed here three years, in the three years played fifty one games and scores nine goals. In summer 2007 joined to Clermont Foot and played in his first season 36 games and scored 5 goals. In springtime 2009 was linked with transfers to RC Strasbourg[1] and Le Havre AC[2], but both transfers were failed.
However on June 26, 2009, he signed a three-year-contract with Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.[3]
On 2 January 2011, he joined Ligue 2 side Le Mans on a six-month loan deal.[4]
In August 2011 he left France and signed signed a three-year-contract with 2nd Bundesliga club Dynamo Dresden.[5]
Poté plays also for Benin and gave his debut on 7 September 2008 against Angola national football team[6]
