Michael Gault (born 15 April 1983) is a Northern Ireland international association football player who plays as a midfielder for Linfield in the Irish League. He also teaches Physical Education at Rathmore Grammar School in Northern Ireland.

Capped at every level for Northern Ireland, 'Gaulty' is a firm favourite with Linfield fans and has played over 250 games for the Belfast side. He is also one of several full-time players on Linfield's books. He scored a memorable hat-trick in which he scored two rebounds from the keeper and one from a goalmouth scramble, inducing the Michael Gault song to be sung across the stadium.

Gault won his first full cap in a friendly match against Georgia in March 2008 that Northern Ireland won 4–1.[1] He was one of three Linfield players to feature in the match, the others being Peter Thompson and Alan Mannus.
