Melvin (Mel) Lintern (born 17 May 1950) is a former English footballer.
Lintern graduated through Vale juniors to make a substitute appearance for the first team in a 2–0 defeat at Brentford on 13 May 1967, he signed professional forms in March 1968, but was given a free transfer two months later. Lintern went on to play for Carlisle United, Stafford Rangers and Hanley Town.[1]
