Meiden-Akasaka Station (名電赤坂駅 Meiden Akasaka-eki?) is a train station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line locatedin Toyokawa, Aichi, Japan. It is located 12.5 kilometers from the junction of the Nagoya Main Line at Toyohashi.

History

Meiden-Akasaka Station was opened on April 1, 1925 as Aiden-Akasaka Station (名電赤坂駅 Aiden-Akasaka-eki?) on the Aichi Electric Railway. On April 1, 1935, the Aichi Electric Railway merged with the Nagoya Railway (the forerunner of present-day Meitetsu). The station was renamed to its present name on August 1, 1935. The station has been unattended since 1971.
