The Megatainment EP is a collaborative extended play by The Megas and Entertainment System[1][2], released on August 24, 2009. The EP contains cover versions of music from the Capcom video game, Mega Man. Every song contains lyrics written by The Megas that expand on the original video game's story.

According to the album's linear notes, the EP's conecption began in winter 2008 when The Megas agreed to play Entertainment System's third annual video game rock show, 32-bit Genocide in Baltimore, MD. After the Megas recorded Get Equipped based on the music from Mega Man 2, Entertainment System thought for completion's sake, they should write and record an album based on that of Mega Man 1. The Megas said they would write and record vocals if Entertainment System would write and record the instrumentals.[2]
The EP is unique because the ideas for the song are based on the music used in different parts of the game for Mega Man. Tracks 1-3 are based on the background music for the Robot Master listed following the song title and that Robot Master's unique personality. Whereas track 4 is the battle with Dr. Wily
All lyrics written by Eric von Doymi, Greg Schneider, Josh Breeding, and Mike Levinson, all music composed by Manami Matsumae, Yoshihiro Sakaguchi, and Entertainment System.
