Matthew Rush (born Gregory Grove on September 22, 1972) is a retired bi-racial American pornographic actor who appeared in gay pornographic films and magazines. He is also a bodybuilder and personal trainer under his real name. He has competed at the Gay Games in Amsterdam and Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
As a porn star, Rush was under a lifetime exclusive contract with Falcon Studios.[3] In 2009, Rush ended his contract with Falcon[4] to pursue other projects in the industry,[5] including his first post-Falcon project was a porn video and photo shoot with photographer Jon Royce[6] on January 22, 2009. Matthew Rush is a powerful top in most of his films, but can also perform as a vocal bottom. His first post-Falcon porn shoot was with Pantheon Productions in San Francisco on January 23, 2009. In this film - called Brief Encounters (Real Men, Vol. 17) - Rush played a nasty son and flip-flopped with hairy daddy Tim Kelly.[7] Rush's career was revitalized when he joined the website MenOver30.com in 2009. His easy going attitude and versatility has earned him the 2010 Grabby Award as Best Versatile Performer as well as the 2010 GayVN Award in the same category.
Rush has appeared in the TV detective film Third Man Out, starring Chad Allen, and in the motion picture Another Gay Movie.[8] From 2002 to 2005, he acted in a traveling stage production of Ronnie Larsen's, Making Porn.
In October 2011, Rush announced his retirement from porn.[9][10]
