Career

He left Örebro SK after the 2000 season for AIK.

A technical left-winger (though right footed), Rubarth excels in dribbling past defenders. He regularly provides strikers with good passes, and consequently gets quite a few assists. During the 2003 season, Rubarth's best, he proved to be an able goal scorer too, netting ten times in the Swedish top division, Allsvenskan. One of his more famous goals was however scored in 2001 against local rivals Hammarby IF when he scored with a spectacular bicycle kick.

Though not a physical player, Rubarth picks up a staggering amount of yellow cards, and quite a few red ones.

Despite his on-pitch temper problems, Rubarth is quite popular at AIK's home ground Råsunda for several reasons including his entertaining style and commitment to the club. On 31 October 2008 it was announced that he would quit the team after the current season and that the match against Helsingborgs IF two days later would be his last at Råsunda.[1] He came on with 10 minutes left to play and received the love from the fans one last time.[2] Rubarth leave the club in January 2009 and is currently free agent.[3]

Music career

He is also an recording artist and composer and has released one EP so far.
