Mastek Limited (BSE: 523704) is a multinational information technology services company headquartered in Mumbai, India. It is one of the oldest software companies in India.[4] It has four development centers in India. Mastek has major presence in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe, Asia-Pacific and Middle East and also eight global delivery centres in India and Malaysia.[5] Mastek and its subsidiaries employ over 3363 professionals.[3]

Mastek was founded in May 1982[6] by four graduates from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad: Ashank Desai, Ketan Mehta, R. Sundar and Sudhakar Ram.[7] They were later joined by current chairman & managing director of the company Sudhakar Ram. The company started operations in a two-bedroom apartment in Ghatkopar, a central Mumbai suburb, which was also the home of Ketan Mehta.
