Mark Wallington (born 1953 Swanage) is an author and broadcaster, perhaps most famous for his humorous "Boogie" travelogues,^[1] both memorably serialised on BBC Radio Four. After leaving school, Wallington worked as a jobbing gardener^[2] before embarking on a career as a journalist and scriptwriter, his first credit being for Not the Nine O'Clock News.^[3] In addition to his radio successes he has also written many works for television.^[4] His latest commission is a dramatisation of Gervase Phinn’s Over Hill and Dale.
