Manston is a small village and parish in the county of Dorset in southern England. It is situated in the Blackmore Vale in the North Dorset administrative district of the county, two miles east of the town of Sturminster Newton. It is sited on Kimmeridge clay soil,[1] close to the River Stour. In the 2001 Census the village had a population of 135.
