Mame Khan was born to Rana Khan, a folk singer in a small village named as Satto near by Jaisalmer. His father taught him singing and was a source of inspiration to Mame Khan. He learned a wide range of traditional folk songs and Sufi music from his father.
Mame Khan started performing at the at of 12. He has performed all over India, Europe, USA, Canada, Asia and Gulf Countries.[1] Mame Khan performs at major sufi festivals across the world. He has sung two Bollywood songs for music director Amit Trivedi, namely Aitbaar from No one killed Jessica and Baangur from I Am. Both of the songs were successful.
